The AL8X-32 features:

2. Easy to read 360 circle graduations
3. Automatic level can be mounted on a flat or dome head tripod
4. Die Cast aluminum construction for strength and durability
5. Compensator lock protecting the compensator during transport
6. Band hung, Magnetic damped compensator for accurate leveling over +/-15 arc minutes of leveling range.
7. Collimator site on the top cover provides quick sighting
8. All focusing and adjusting knobs are rubber covered for easy gripping
