| The HD50 Handheld Distance measuring device offers the best value for the price in the entire measuring meter category. It's small (smaller than a blackberry) with a rubber grip for easy handling. The HD50 performs all the necessary functions needed by the pros. This "non-contact" measuring of up to 165 ft. (50m) allows one-person to measure difficult-to-reach or hazardous locations. Accuracy of 1/16-inch (1.5mm) across the entire measuring range reduces measuring errors even over large distances. 'Distance, Area', 'volume', and 'continuous measurement' keys allow direct access to measurement functions, and eliminate math errors. The visible red laser beam( 635 nm) allows fast targeting for indoor applications. The intuitive user keypad is simple and easy to use. There is a built-in sighting system to align the target and is waterproof to IP54. Operates on a set of four 'AAA' batteries for over 30,000 shots. Also has a measurement memory with addition/subtraction functions.
